Not Here, Not There, Not Everywhere
My beautiful friend Katerina Stamati hosts a weekly radio show that she graciously invited me to take part in. The theme for this episode was Not here, Not there, Not everywhere, a fitting theme for Athens, a fractal and sometimes haunting place.
I can’t think of a better person to talk about Athens with than Katerina. She sees, thinks and creates things that most people don’t.
We talked about place and what it means to belong somewhere. I explained Ted Danson to her, we discussed our retirement plan to open a weird bar, and she told me about the time she found Pavarotti in the living room.
We also played music by Bruce Springsteen, Arthur Russell, and Pyramidos, among others.
